Anion Group will not be held accountable for incorrect measurements and specifications provided for steel and aluminium materials ( Goods) . If the wrong information is provided, the client and Anion Group will work together to come up with a solution. We emphasise triple checking details to avoid this issue arising. 

 

If Goods are installed by another representative that is not appointed by Anion Group the purchaser must take images of the correctly installed Goods to prove that instructions were clearly followed. The images must be date for verification purposes and signed by the purchaser. All copies of the images must be kept to make a claim under warranty.

 

Warranty period 

Steel Goods :

Frames and doors - 1 year  limited warranty period

Glass - 6 year limited warranty period

IGU’s shall be free of defects which are:

• Visible from at least 3 metres; and

• Caused by moisture or film formation or dust collection on the interior glass surface of the air or argon space of the IGU Goods OR inadequate structural strength up to the specified design wind pressure.

THS’s shall be free of defects which are:

• Visible from at least 3 metres; and

• Caused by failure from high energy thermal stress of solar radiant heat OR inadequate thickness for the design wind pressures specified by You.

Accessories - if faulty Anion Group can replace within 12 months of supply

 

Aluminium Goods:

Frame and glass - 6 year limited warranty period

IGU’s shall be free of defects which are:

• Visible from at least 3 metres; and

Warranty limitations

This warranty is offered exclusively to the original purchaser of the Goods from Anion Group and is not transferable. It will no longer apply if the ownership of the Goods changes after the initial purchase.

The warranty does not apply to any repair, replacement, or service required due to the following circumstances:

• Incorrect or faulty installation of the Goods;

• Use of the Goods in a way that is outside their intended function or contrary to any instructions provided by Anion Group;

• Lack of proper care, maintenance, or general negligence;

• Physical damage caused by misuse, mistreatment, or deliberate harm;

• Unauthorised alterations or modifications to the Goods;

• Damage resulting from fire or exposure to extreme heat;

• Surface-level imperfections such as rust, scratches, fading, discolouration, or cracking, where such issues do not impair the function of the Goods;

• Events beyond human control, including natural disasters such as storms, floods, earthquakes, or other force majeure incidents.
